SCN Training

Bnai Israel Congregation has contacted the Secure Community Network (SCN), the official homeland security and safety initiative of the organized Jewish Community in North America, to arrange Be Aware/Counter Active Threat (CATT) and Stop the Bleed training.  This training will be held at Bnai Israel and pre-registration is required.  This training is open to other Jewish organizations in Wilmington. 

The training will be conducted by Stuart Frish, the National Training and Exercise Advisor for SCN.

 

 

Monday, February 6th 
Stop the Bleed (60 minutes) two sessions offered: 2:00 and 3:30 PM
This training provides "hands on training" to be able to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively until professional help arrives.  (Course size limited to 20 people each session).  Click here for additional information on this course.

Be Aware/Counter Active Threat Training (CATT) (90 minutes) 7:00 PM
This training aids in identifying and explaining the steps necessary to survive an active threat incident: Run, Hide, Fight; response to law enforcement's arrival, and committing to action.
