Sponsoring an Oneg or Kiddish is Easy!
Sponsoring an Oneg or Kiddish is a Mitzvah for your fellow congregants or is a way to honor a loved one for a birthday, anniversary or Yahrzeit. An Oneg or Kiddish means supplying a nosh for Friday night or a light lunch for Saturday morning.

Here’s How to Sign Up Below
- Choose a date and sign up in Shul Cloud or call the office. You can see the calendar if someone else has already signed up or if your date is available.

- Let us know if the Oneg/Kiddush is in honor of a birthday, anniversary, Yahrzeit, bar/bat mitzvah, etc.

Congregants can supply their own Kosher food in addition to what is listed. Preparation must be in the Bnai Israel kitchen. Please consult the Rabbi to determine if your products are Kosher before bringing them into the kitchen.

Deliver items to Bnai Israel between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm on Wednesday or Thursday. Please do not wait until Friday to deliver food.
- Yvonne will prepare and serve the food OR you are welcome to take charge to add your own special touch.
- There is a nominal fee to sponsor an Oneg and Kiddish. Below is a list of the foods that will be served for the Oneg & Kiddish. If you choose to purchase additional foods for your Oneg or Kiddish, please see above for the rules on Kosher foods and and deadline for providing food.
- Oneg & Kiddish packages are based on the typical number of people who attend. If you are expecting guests, please contact the office with the number of additional people attending and someone will get back to you with any additional costs. You may choose to provide your own additional food following the above guidelines.

Full Basic Kiddish *Congregants can bring in their own lox, bagels and condiments and Yvonne will plate if they do not wish to pay the additional $126. NOTE: If you plan to have more than the expected 24-30 people in attendance, you will need to plan accordingly.
