Rosh Hashanah is next week!
There has been a flurry of activity at Bnai Israel with all of
the planning and work that goes on in our synagogue to ensure the best experience for
everyone. On behalf of the congregation, I would like to thank all who have contributed
their time and efforts toward a meaningful High Holiday experience for us.
Let me just list a few of the teams that came together, Reservations and seating, Erev
Rosh Hashanah Dinner, Security and ushers, Mailings, Honors, Family Services and
Babysitting, and Planning each service woven with spirituality and musicality. This is
done in collaboration with our invaluable volunteers, Rabbi, Cantor and staff.
We are a growing and thriving community. Our school is filled with children, happy to be
at the synagogue. Our programming has hit new levels for social, educational and ritual
engagement, if you haven’t yet engaged – try something new.
I ask each of you to recommit to our community this new year. To be present, to
participate, to contribute in whatever ways you can. Our synagogue relies on the
generosity of spirit and resources of its members. Your involvement, whether through
volunteering, attending services, or making a donation, ensures that we can continue to
be a vibrant, thriving community for generations to come.
May this year be one of health, happiness, and peace for us all. May we all be inscribed
in the Book of Life, and may we go from strength to strength.

Shanah Tova,
Pam Sender
