Pam Sender

As the final weeks of summer unfold, our congregation is already beginning to come back to life with renewed purpose and energy. I’m excited to share all that’s happening as we head into a new season together.

We’ll kick things off on Friday, August 1, with the resumption of Friday night services and the installation of our new Board of Directors. This meaningful evening will honor those stepping into leadership and recommit ourselves to our shared vision for the year ahead.

Behind the scenes, construction has been steadily progressing. I’m pleased to report that both the new ADA-compliant bathrooms and our beautifully renovated boardroom will be completed by the end of August — a testament to our ongoing commitment to accessibility and functionality for all who walk through our doors.

We’re also looking ahead to the fall with excitement. On Friday, September 6, we’ll resume our Family-Friendly Friday Nights, including a special Blessing of the Backpacks for our students and a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new playground — a joyous celebration for families of all ages.

And don’t forget — we’ll send summer off in style at our annual Labor Day Cookout, a wonderful chance to gather informally with friends old and new.

As the High Holy Days approach, we invite you to return, reconnect, and reengage in synagogue life. Whether through services, celebrations, or simply stopping by to see what’s new, you are always welcome here.

Wishing you a meaningful end to summer and a vibrant beginning to the season ahead.

B’Shalom

Pam
