Thank you for your interest in Bnai Israel Congregation and your decision to join the synagogue.

Complete the online membership application here. Once you complete the application, you will be asked to create a password and then taken to the payment page. If you do not complete the payment, the application will not be submitted or saved.

Once you submit your payment, you may receive an automated email recognizing you for your donor payment, please ignore this email. It is a known error and is currently being addressed. You will shortly receive an email with the correct invoice information.

Membership Selection

The full year membership will begin on July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025. Payment can be made in full at the time of your application or installments throughout the year. A $100 minimum deposit is required with your application, which is applied towards your dues. If you join after July, your dues may be prorated on a quarterly basis for that year. Potential members with questions regarding fees or membership are encouraged to contact the Bnai Israel Office at 910-762-1117 or administration@bnaiisraelilm.com.

Family Membership - $1.925
Individual Membership - $1,375
Young Family Membership - (40 and under) - $950
Young Adult Membership - (18 - 29) - $36
Out-of-Town Membership (Outside of SE North Carolina) - $1,100
- Outside of the following counties: New Hanover, Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Onslow, Pender

Membership benefits include:

Voting Rights (1 per membership)
High Holiday seats for members, discount seats for guests
Rabbinic presence and officiation at life cycle events
Reduced plot and maintenance fees for Bnai Israel Cemetery
Reduced fees for Chevra Kadish
Reduced fees for Synagogue events

After you submit your membership, you will be asked to create an account password, followed by a payment page. On the payment page, you will be able to enter the necessary credit card information.

Once your account has been created, please login to ShulCloud and fill out your remaining information, including children and yahrzeits.
