The invitations are in the mail!

In just six weeks the Celebration! Installation! Dedication! weekend will begin.

Thursday evening, June 9th is our kickoff with a delicious dinner at Cape Fear Country Club accompanied by musical entertainment from the Jewish band The Ruach. 

On Friday evening, June 10th, Rabbi Bender will be officially installed as Bnai Israel’s spiritual leader, followed by a special oneg.

Last, but certainly not least, on Sunday afternoon, June 12th, we will dedicate our beautifully renovated sanctuary and complete the weekend with a wine and cheese reception.

We hope you will join us for all of these special events and experience firsthand the joy and strength of our community when we come together. 

Please return the RSVP card included with your invitation as soon as possible. Please note if you wish to be sponsored to attend the dinner. There is no cost for the Friday & Sunday events but we’d like to know if you are planning to attend.

In order to best commemorate this important time in Bnai Israel’s 124-year history, we are creating a special journal. Please consider placing an ad or greeting in the journal to help support the cost of the weekend. Don’t delay. The deadline for submitting ads is May 5th.
