We celebrated Purim, Passover and the spring holidays and now summer is coming…  As we move into the summer months, activities around the synagogue slow down just a little before we gear up for High Holidays.  It’s our own annual cycle of synagogue life.  What better way to start summer than with the Celebration! Installation! Dedication! event. The weekend of June 9-12^th, promises to be full of joy, music and memories as we celebrate the formal installation of Rabbi Chaya Bender and the dedication of the beautifully renovated Sanctuary.  I look forward to seeing each of you throughout the weekend.

 We will also start the summer with some exciting changes to our newsletter.  Beginning in June, the newsletter will change to being emailed Monthly, with a Weekly Update.  You will have the opportunity to see what’s coming up each month, with reminders and key updates sent weekly in a condensed, easy to read format.  We continue to find ways to provide communications in an easy to access manner, deliver engaging content and streamline information.  You will always be able to go to the (mobile friendly) Bnai Israel website https://bnaiisraelilm.shulcloud.com/ for the latest and greatest information, registration for events and the full calendar of activities.  We will continue to review feedback and adjust as needed to support the needs of the congregation.  Just a friendly reminder, we have increased our presence on Facebook and Instagram and encourage you to be an active participant of those mobile friendly sites.
