Semi Annual Congregational Meeting Update

Thank you to everyone who joined our Semi Annual Congregational meeting on Sunday, July 24th.  We had over 40 participants join the Zoom.  We highlighted our extensive programming over the past year, financial updates and goals for both this year and next.

Some of the key highlights from the meeting include:

Bnai Israel is growing:  We have welcomed over 23 new families since 2020, including 8 in 2022.; Hebrew School has grown from 4 to 20 children; Tots programming has grown to 10 children

Sanctuary renovation is complete and the sanctuary is a beautiful, peaceful, inviting place of worship

Cemetery cleanup is underway and plans are in progress for the upcoming sale of new plots

Ongoing commitment to being an open and inclusive congregation 

Rabbi Bender continues to lead and participate in many interfaith community events, as well as programming with Temple of Israel

Creation of various fundraising programs

Donations Matter...every dollar counts!  There were 658 contributions to BIC last year

8 were $1,000 or greater 

15 were $500 or greater

452 were less that $50

With the many programs we have planned, there is something for everyone.  If not, please bring me your ideas. I invite you to get involved, join us for events and help Bnai Israel continue to thrive and be the place for your family and mine today and tomorrow.
