Passover 2025/5785

"Chametz” is defined as any product from wheat, barley, rye, oats or spelt which was allowed to rise, e.g. bread, crackers, etc. It is customary to remove all Chametz from your home, office, car, etc.  This is accomplished in two ways: outright disposal of all Chametz products in one’s possession, or sale of those products to a non-Jew.

2nd Night BIC Passover Community Seder

Please join your BIC family and friends for an engaging musical Passover Seder with your favorite traditional foods and a few new favorites.  Friends and family and members are welcome to attend. You must pre-register for this Passover Seder. 

Scholarships are available for BIC Members, if needed.  Please contact the BIC Office for more information. 

 

Volunteers are needed to help with the Passover Seder.

Please contact the Bnai Israel Office if you are able to volunteer in the following areas:

  • Table Set up, Sunday, April 12
  • After Seder Clean up, Sunday April 12

  • Tuesday, April 8th, 10:30 AM - Stuffed cabbage - 4 slots
  • Wednesday, April 9th, 10 AM - Potato kugel - 3 slots
  • Thursday, April 10th, 10 AM - Charoset and hard boiled egg
  • Friday, April 11th, 10 AM - Prep chicken, sauce, and salad 4 slots
